Since Effective Communication is about communication, we seek dynamic guest speakers who are great communicators, who love God, who are passionate about their message, and who pursue excellence as they teach about communication.
We are thrilled to announce the following speakers coming to Effective Communication. If you've never met them, we can hardly wait to introduce them to you in person!
Robert Greenlaw
Robert Greenlaw works for the Character Training Institute and has extensive experience writing curriculum and materials. As a trainer for CTI, he has taught seminars and character lessons to 30,000 teachers and 70,000 children in 12 countries. He has a passion to teach character and leadership to young people who want to make a difference in their world. Robert and his wife, Paula, live in Oklahoma City, OK.
Dewey Novotny
Dewey Novotny is the developer of the Life Purpose Planning material and has a heart for equipping young adults to be tomorrow’s leaders. He uses his experiences as a military and commercial airline pilot to motivate young people to wholeheartedly pursue God’s purpose for their lives. Dewey and his wife, Chardell, have seven children and live in north Texas.
Ken Pierpont
Ken Pierpont is a writer and storyteller extraordinaire with a vision to touch people's lives through stories of God's work today. In addition to pastoring, Ken began a weekly e-mail to friends and family called The Stonebridge Newsletter. Over time, it grew to 5,000 subscribers. His new book, Sunset on Summer, was released last fall and is based on the fresh, clear writing style of the Stonebridge Newsletter. Ken and his wife, Lois, live near Detroit, Michigan and have eight children and one grandchild.

In addition to these guest speakers, our staff instructor team supports the event and handles logistics. Each has a passion to encourage young people in God's ways and are praying and planning to make your week exciting and rewarding!
